The Great Dane Morten Andersen kicks way into Hall of Fame

The two time Atlanta Falcons kicker finally makes the Hall of Fame.

We should remember Morten Anderson for a number of huge plays in Atlanta Falcons history. He kicked the game-winning field goal against the Minnesota Vikings in the 1998 NFC Championship game, getting Atlanta to their first ever Super Bowl. He even returned under Jim Mora, still kicking, and kicking well, at age 84 46.

It is tough for a kicker to make the Hall, especially over elite talents like Terrell Owens. Anderson finished out his very long career with 8 seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. We are so happy for the Great Dane that we aren’t even going to talk about his time with some team in New Orleans.

Congrats, Andersen!
