Tell us your fondest Falcons memories, which will hopefully be replaced soon

Tomorrow night, we may all have the same answer.

Some of you have been Falcons fans since the very beginning of the franchise, and some of you are relatively new to the franchise. Regardless, you are all Falcons fans, and welcome to share in the sheer joy of a Super Bowl berth.

As we prepare for a new favorite memory—which would obviously be a Super Bowl win—I’m curious to hear what your favorite memory is in the here and now. It doesn’t have to be from the team’s last championship berth—that wasn’t a game we want to remember—but there’s a lot of history to talk about right before the Falcons hopefully wipe the worst of it away.

Mine is still Morten Andersen’s kick to send the Falcons to their first Super Bowl, both because of my age (I was 14 at the time), the fact that it was the first real championship opportunity in the history of the franchise, and because I was convinced they’d beat the Broncos. Alas.

Share your favorite current memory, and hopefully we’ll all have a fresh one Sunday night.
