The Atlanta Falcons have several needs they’ll look to address in April’s draft. And when April 27, 2017 rolls around, let’s hope they keep their pass rush in mind. Vic Beasley and Grady Jarrett represent a solid foundation, but let’s be honest, they need some help.
SB Nation’s Dan Kadar released his latest mock draft today. He also thinks the Falcons will focus on improving their pass rush.
31. Atlanta Falcons: Taco Charlton, DE, Michigan
This is another instance of a player’s grade being too high to pass on. Charlton has the size and athleticism to be a riser in the coming weeks at the NFL Scouting Combine. If he’s there for Atlanta at No. 31, the Falcons should pounce.
Taco is more than his awesome name; he’s a big, quick, polished defensive end. He could arguably contribute immediately but still has room to grow. He’s got moves galore and the Falcons would be lucky to land him late in the first round. Here’s his highlight reel if you’re interested.
