The Atlanta Falcons are going to have to beat the Saints without their starting left guard. That increases the degree of difficulty, but hopefully won’t make a significant difference in the outcome.
Besides Levitre, who is being replaced in the lineup by defensive tackle/guard hybrid Ben Garland, the only other player of note on the inactives list is C.J. Goodwin. Goodwin played well at times a year ago, but has largely fallen out of favor in 2017, and played two disastrous snaps on defense against the Vikings a week. Blidi Wreh-Wilson, who drew significant playing time and played quite well, will be the Falcons’ fourth cornerback today.

The Saints, meanwhile, are down Andrus Peat along their offensive line, but otherwise appear healthy. The Falcons will have to get through a nearly full-strength New Orleans team, and we badly hope they can do so.
