So long, Terrence Magee. While many of us had already forgotten he was signed just a few weeks ago, I will always remember you as the guy who pushed Jermaine Grace off the roster. And, well, that’s the extent of those memories.
The Falcons moved on from Magee to sign a corner. Apparently Flowery Branch resides in a time warp from one week ago when they should have signed a corner.
TRANSACTION: We have signed CB Leon McFadden to the active roster and have waived RB Terrence Magee. pic.twitter.com/ZMXS9p9E3O

McFadden was drafted by the Cleveland Browns, which is really all you need to know about him and his potential impact in Atlanta. He’s bounced around multiple teams since being drafted in the third round of the 2013 draft. McFadden looks a little small for a Quinn corner.
Why did they make this move? We are really guessing right now. While Desmond Trufant is expected to return from concussion protocol, there’s a chance he doesn’t before Thursday night’s game. The Falcons were caught flat footed when Brian Poole’s injury didn’t improve. If not Trufant, perhaps Poole had a setback and may miss extended time. Also likely is C.J. Goodwin is getting demoted after an unspectacular preseason and a poor showing against the Minnesota Vikings.
Lets hope it is the last one.
