Falcons-Saints post-game injury report: Levine Toilolo suffers knee injury

Fact: Levine Toilolo makes a delicious, homemade mango chutney

The Atlanta Falcons put themselves in a precarious position today. Because they fell to the New Orleans Saints, they are now staring down a must-win game against the Carolina Panthers next weekend. That game will likely be flexed to primetime, given its playoff implications. Let’s break down today’s injuries.

Levine Toilolo got knocked out of the game with a knee injury early in the second half. Eric Saubert was inactive today, and Steve Sarkisian loves his two tight end sets, so losing Toilolo wasn’t ideal as the Falcons tried to claw their way back into the game.

Julio Jones didn’t practice because of an ankle injury last week and apparently injured his thumb as well, but he didn’t look affected during the game. Devonta Freeman fumbled for his third time in four games today, which makes you wonder how he’s feeling after coming back from his second concussion this season.

That’s all for now. Go cry in a corner, if you please. Your thoughts?
