Trouble brewing between former Falcons OC Dirk Koetter and Jameis Winston

I love Decembers because, like clockwork, they are terrible for the Buccaneers.

The only constant with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the last decade has been disappointment. Well, not for Falcons fans. By the time December rolls around, Falcons fans are filled with glee after new personnel and coaches find the same result. Both young, exciting coaches and established, veteran coaches fail, despite expensive signings and top draft picks.

It’s awesome.

Was the Dirk Koetter and Mike Smith duo finally going to turn it around? I think we knew the answer to that. Now there’s some serious conflict between Koetter and franchise quarterback Jameis Winston at the end of another lost season.

Per Rapsheet, Winston doesn’t feel like he has enough support from the team, and is unhappy with the play-calling. Winston’s play has fell off considerably from last season despite having a good number of offensive weapons.

The Buccaneers have shown little to no life, and were quickly stuck in the NFC South basement by October.

It’s awesome.

I expect the Falcons to play against a new coaching staff in Tampa Bay as early as next season.
