Atlanta Falcons talk: How will this team close out 2017?

With five games to go, what will be the team’s final record?

Your Atlanta Falcons are 7-4. I had still smoldering take artists telling me they wouldn’t win another game when they were 4-4, so this ranks as a bit of an accomplishment. The roller coaster nature of the season thus far, and the fact that the last three wins have come over depleted opponents, means we’re not quite sure what to expect from their upcoming stretch against the Vikings and some tough NFC South opponents.

Let’s try to figure it out, though. How many wins do you think the Falcons have over their last five games, and how many will they drop?

I’m going with 3-2. I think the Falcons will probably, unfortunately drop the Vikings games and one of the Saints games, but I do believe they’re capable of winning the rest. Whether a 10-6 record is good enough to get them into the playoffs is an open question at this point, but it’ll at least get them close, and it will be at least a small triumph of sorts after the Falcons looked abysmal earlier in the year.

Let’s hope I’m a win or two short here, and then let’s hear your predictions. If you wouldn’t mind filling out the poll below, hey, even better!
