Dallas Cowboys will be without suspended RB Ezekiel Elliott against the Atlanta Falcons

The permanently struggling Falcons luck out, and won’t have to defend Elliott.

What a rollercoaster ride it has been through the Ezekiel Elliott saga, where we have learned countless things about the most boring part of the legal system. The star running back is finally, almost officially, suspended for his game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Luckily, the Falcons really, really, really need to win this game.

Elliot is arguably the team’s best player, if not their most electric offensive weapon. It should simplify things for the Falcons defense, which usually means the defense will make Alfred Morris or some other borderline NFL talent look like a superstar.

It’s difficult to get too excited about the Falcons down this stretch, but the Dallas offense looks totally different without Elliot. Dak Prescott will be stuck trying to carry the team on the road against the Falcons.

Anyone looking forward to watching this game just a bit more now?
