Julio Jones is such a phenomenal player that you can be disappointed when he only puts up 100 yards. Jones had been having a great season for other wide receivers, but he had failed to breakout in normal Julio Jones fashion.
Until Sunday.
Jones, of course, burned alive Mike Smith’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense. Buddy, you should know you just can’t leave him in single coverage.

Jones just had this third (!) 250+ yard game, catching an absurd 12 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns. He was an easy pick for NFC Offensive Player of the Week, as he may have single handedly gotten the entire Buccaneers front office fired.
We have our fingers crossed that offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian realized this offense is best when Jones is focal point. If we see an uptick in his targets, we should see Atlanta secure a playoff spot.
