Adrian Clayborn ties Falcons single game record with five sacks

Clayborn is having the most dominant game of his career.

Without Tyron Smith in the game, the Cowboys figured to struggle a bit against the Falcons’ pass rush. I just don’t think anyone saw a game like this coming.

Adrian Clayborn now has five sacks in this game, having annihilated Chaz Green en route to every single one of them. Dak Prescott has barely stood a chance as Clayborn has come at his blindside over and over again, bringing him down and even forcing a fumble.

Not only is this the finest game of Clayborn’s solid career, but it ties the Falcons’ single game record for sacks, per the FOX broadcast, and that ties him with the legendary Chuck Smith. Suffice to say this is one of the best pass rushing performances we’ve seen in team history, even when you consider the tackle he’s working against.

Give it up for Clayborn, who may have earned himself a nice new contract with Atlanta just based on today’s performance. He’s also the team’s leading sack artist in 2017, now, which is insane.
