On just his second carry of the game against the Dallas Cowboys, Devonta Freeman took an uncalled helmet-to-helmet hit that left him coming up woozy. Ed Hochuli forced him out of the game, Freeman went to the medical tent, and then he was off to the locker room.
If Freeman is being evaluated for a concussion, as I suspect he is, there’s virtually no chance he’ll return to this game. That’ll leave Tevin Coleman and third back Terron Ward, who has barely touched the football in 2017, in charge of keeping this Falcons ground game going.
Atlanta is down 7-0 as I type this, and it doesn’t look good so far.
