The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had a pretty bad history with kickers since they cut Matt Bryant after the 2008 season. On Thursday Night Football against the New England Patriots, Nick Folk missed three (!) field goals. Tampa lost by five points.
Bucs scheduling workouts Monday for at least four kickers, per source; any moves related to potential release of Nick Folk wait until then.

Folk, of course replaced the guy they traded up for in the second round just last offseason, Robert Aguayo. He had some prolific kicking numbers in college, but somehow that didn’t translate into the pros. They have been through an absolutely insane number of kickers. So many, I had to go back and count.
Since cutting Money Matt Bryant, the Bucs have had Shane Andrus, Mike Nugent, Connor Barth, Rian Lindell, Patrick Murray, Roberto Aguayo, and Nick Folk kicking field goals. We may see a new one next Sunday, pushing that number to eight.
We have gotta give it to the ageless wonder. Bryant has been so good, he continues to earn his money reputation.

Bryant has made 88.7% of his field goals since signed by Atlanta, and has done pretty well at completing 315 of his 316 extra point attempts. His leg looks as strong as ever, as he easily made a 53 yarder this season.
Thanks, Tampa.
