The Atlanta Falcons face off against whoever is still on the New York Jets today at 1, and both teams just released their inactives. No real surprises for the Falcons, which isn’t surprising because there wasn’t anyone close to the being active.

The only thing of interest I see is Marvin Hall got the nod over Nick Williams. That’s probably the best move, as Hall offers some downfield playmaking that just isn’t what Williams can do. Newly signed Sean Weatherspoon is, of course out. He probably needs at least another week to get up to speed. Newly-ish signed run stuffer Ahtyba Rubin is active and should get a healthy number of snaps ASAP.

The Jets had a few big names on their injury report earlier this week, including Muhammad Wilkerson as a potential inactive. So much for that one.

I’m not sure how much this will impact the game. Buster Skrine is a decent enough corner, but the Patriots game showed us cornerback matchups don’t matter. The Falcons have been seemingly immune to matchups, and have generally just taken themselves out of football games.
