We’ve been sweating this one all week, and now it’s time to see what the Falcons can do on Sunday Night Football. On the road. Against the New England Patriots.
I have a reasonable amount of confidence in this Falcons team, but I don’t claim to have a strong sense of how this one is going to go, not with both teams scuffling mightily at times this year. I’ll just hope for a good game, and most importantly of all, an Atlanta win after two dispiriting games in a row.
Below, you’ll find the key info for the game, and our Twitter tracker. Given that this is a primetime game, though, I imagine most of you will be glued to the broadcast, and you should use this as your open thread.
Atlanta Falcons vs. New England Patriots Week 7 key info
Time: Sunday, October 22nd, 8:30 p.m. EST
Location: Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, Massachusetts
TV Channel: NBC
Announcers: Booth: Al Michaels & Cris Collinsworth
Radio: 92.9 The Game
Odds: The Patriots are favored by three points or so
Prediction: Falcons win, 35-34
Key Questions: Can the Falcons stop this tough Patriots offense, particularly running backs James White and Dion Lewis, plus Rob Gronkowski? Can the offense finally get going in earnest against a weak, big play-prone Patriots defense? Can we please get some small measure of revenge for the Super Bowl, por favor?
