It feels like just a few years ago Grady Jarrett was too small to be an impact player. He made a huge impression after being drafted all the way down in the fifth round of the draft. Now he’s one of Atlanta’s best defensive linemen, and easily one of the league’s best, young tackles.
NFL godfather Gil Brant has Jarrett leading the league in run stuffs.
Most run stuffs (thru Wk 6)
— Gil Brandt (@Gil_Brandt) October 20, 2017
Jarrett 7.5
Woodyard 6.5
S Thomas 6.5
Ogbah 6.5
C. Peters 6.5
T. Smith 6
C. Jones 6
D. Lee 6
Bostic 6
Bennett 6
Missing from this stat is Jarrett has also been a force rushing the passer. He’s an impressively well-rounded player, especially for his age.
Next up on his slate: repeating his three-sack performance against Tom Brady on Sunday night. Please, please, please make this happen, Grady.
