Atlanta Falcons talk: What is the key to beating the Miami Dolphins?

Besides just showing up.

You are going to look at the Miami Dolphins, with all their numerous flaws, and want to answer this question sarcastically. I am pleading with you, earnestly, to give it the weight it deserves. And then immediately make your jokes.

The question is this: What is the key to beating the Miami Dolphins?

The easy answer, to me, is forcing mistakes from Jay Cutler. I don’t expect Adam Gase and company to make the switch from Cutler to Matt Moore this week because it’s a defensible, probably intelligent move, and teams rarely make those kinds of moves when we we are talking about Jay Cutler. Given that, Atlanta just needs to get pressure on Cutler and make aggressive plays on his (likely unwise) throws, and chances are good they’ll stall a few Miami drives and pick up a couple of turnovers. Do that and play your game on offense and you should win, no problem, given that Miami has (and I still can’t believe this) still not score more than 20 points in a game this season.

What’s your key? Once you’ve told us, use this as your open thread for the night.
