Vic Beasley wrapped up one of the best seasons by a Falcons pass rusher...well, ever. It’s only fitting he’s recognized for that fine work with a Defensive Player of the Month award.
Congratulations to @VicBeasley3 on winning NFC Defensive Player of The Month!

Beasley’s December was one of the most productive months of his fantastic season, a season in which he finished with 15.5 sacks. That’s one off the franchise record established by John Abraham way back in 2008, and it’s easily the best single season sack total since then. Beasley’s speed and tenacity make him a force to be reckoned with, and he should be one for a long time yet.
I’m not sure that Vic Beasley is going to win Defensive Player of the Year, but whether he does or not, he’s a linchpin for this defense, and he’s well on his way to being one of the best pass rushers in this team’s history. May he someday be the best.
