The favorite for the NFL’s most valuable player award is breaking records and getting plenty of awards for his elite performances. No, not Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers.

By my count, Ryan won player of the month in September, and offensive player of the week back in November. He passed for 27 of 36 for 331 yards, 9.19 yards per completion, 4 touchdowns, and a ridiculous 139.9 rating. The Falcons, of course, went run-heavy after the half and Ryan tossed only a few passes after that. All 4 of those touchdowns came during the first half.
Ryan finished his career-best season with another masterful performance, and was rightly awarded for it.
