Who will be the unlikely hero of Super Bowl LI?

Food for thought.

In nearly every Super Bowl, some random player either has a massive game or has a huge play or two that turns the outcome. Here, I’m thinking of David Tyree catching a pass with his face for the Giants against the Patriots, or the Patriots’ own Malcolm Butler picking off Russell Wilson at the goal line.

With any luck, that player will be on the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI, but it’s tough to say who it might be. Will a guy like De’Vondre Campbell who is little-known outside Atlanta come up with a huge turnover? Will super clutch receiver Justin Hardy reel in a big touchdown pass? Will some unknown young quarterback named Matt Ryan have a big game?

Me? I’ll go with unlikely regular season hero Levine Toilolo, who averaged 20 yards per reception and came up with a handful of truly huge catches. He’s basically the last man you’d consider covering on the average Falcons possession and he’s 6’8”, and I feel like that might become relevant at some point in this one.

Who is your choice?
