Falcons vs. Packers NFC Conference Championship channel, schedule, odds, and more

The most important information for the most important game of the year thus far.

For just the fourth time in franchise history, these Atlanta Falcons will play for the chance to head to the Super Bowl. This is, if we’re looking at the season they’ve had, one of the best shots they’ve ever had, and perhaps ever will.

Their opponent is tough and has Aaron Rodgers at quarterback, and I do believe this game will wind up being close and possibly decided in Green Bay’s favor. But we’re also talking about an insanely motivated Falcons team with the best offense in the NFL and home field advantage, so you should not be (and likely won’t be) terribly surprised if they walk away with this one. This is a pretty great football team with more greatness lurking in its future.

For many of us, this will be the second Super Bowl of our lifetimes, and for many others, it’ll be the first. Either way, it would be a momentous day for the franchise and its loyal fans, one that we’ll hopefully get to enjoy starting sometime after 7 p.m. on Sunday. Regardless of my misgivings about the matchup, I’m hopeful the Falcons will come out firing and wind up putting this one away early.

Here’s what you need to know for the game ahead.
