Emotions surrounding Kyle Shanahan are like a roller coaster. Last year his offense couldn’t do anything right. This year, he designed one of the best offenses in league history. Now fans have been worried he would get snatched up by one of the head coaching jobs.
The Jacksonville Jaguars hired Doug Marrone (lol), and now the Denver Broncos are expected to offer their job to someone other than Shanahan.
I am expecting John Elway to make Vance Joseph an offer this morning. #9sports

Joseph had the luxury of losing this last week, so he is free to sign and assemble his staff. It’s been rumored that he’s targeting Mike McCoy as offensive coordinator, who is also the top option for Buffalo if Sean McDermott gets the top job there. The rush to get the top coordinators may be pushing Denver to get Joseph instead of waiting for Shanahan.
There aren’t too many more spots left. If Joseph accepts the deal, half the teams that interviewed Shanahan will be gone. The two left are the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers.
