The fourth week of preseason is NFL teams' last chance to get a good look at the "bubble" guys. For the Falcons, it isn't any different. Let's look how the snaps were split up last Thursday.
Offense
Wes Schweitzer G: 54 (93%)
Bryce Harris T: 54
Matt Simms QB: 54
Mike Person C: 54
Terron Ward RB: 50
J.D. McKissic WR: 41
Nick Williams WR: 33
Joshua Perkins TE: 31
Austin Hooper TE: 28
Collin Rahrig G: 28
Laurence Gibson T: 28
Ben Garland G: 26
Tom Compton T: 26
Corey Washington WR: 23
D.J. Tialavea TE: 22
Aldrick Robinson WR: 15
Eric Weems WR: 14
Justin Hardy WR: 14
Levine Toilolo TE: 6

Jacob Tamme TE: 4
Matt Schaub QB: 3
Mohamed Sanu WR: 2
Patrick DiMarco FB: 1
Matt Ryan QB: 1
Devonta Freeman RB: 1
Tevin Coleman RB: 1
J.D. Mckissic had himself a night. McKissic was someone fans were excited to watch this preseason and was almost a lock to make the final 53. Unfortunately, he has since found himself let go from the team, and Atlanta has instead decided to keep the gritty Nick Williams added the speedy Taylor Gabriel. We wish J.D. the best, and here's to hoping he catches on somewhere else or is brought back to contribute on the practice squad.
In the absence of Brandon Wilds, Terron Ward showed out with two touchdowns on a bum leg. With that, the team has moved on from the former Gamecock.
The offense used a lot of Austin Hooper and Joshua Perkins on Thursday night and decided to keep both of them when it came to cuts. Hooper has a rough game, directly contributing to two Matt Simms' interceptions. The tight-end corps looks to be lacking in firepower this season, but the team is giving themselves a few at bat's and hoping to hit on one.
Defense
Akeem King CB: 59 (95%)
Malliciah Goodman DE: 52
Courtney Upshaw DT: 45

Joey Mbu DT: 28
Philip Wheeler LB: 27
Paul Worrilow LB: 25
Sean Weatherspoon LB: 19
Deion Jones LB: 15
Jonathan Babineaux DT: 15
Damian Parms S: 12
Ra'Shede Hageman DT: 12
Devonte Johnson CB: 10
Brian Poole CB: 9
Ricardo Allen S: 3
Vic Beasley DE: 3
Brooks Reed DE: 3
Desmond Trufant CB: 3
Robert Alford CB: 3
De'Vondre Campbell LB: 3
Tyson Jackson DE: 2
Grady Jarrett DT: 2
Derrick Shelby DE: 1
As a whole, the defense played extremely well against Jacksonville's depth, and some players stood out while doing so.
By the looks of the counts, it seems as though De'Vondre Campbell and Deion Jones will be starting week one against the Buccaneers. Worrilow and Weatherspoon are still listed as the starters, but the two rookies played noticeably less than either of them.
Guys like Tyler Starr, Joey Mbu, and Malliciah Goodman all played reasonably well but didn't stand out enough in the long run. It's sad to see familiar faces go, but it's exciting to see Quinn really making this his team.

Money Matt established himself as the guy with several points credited to his name versus the Jaguars, and Nick Williams had a decent return. Initially, Williams made the 53 but has since been dropped in favor of former Brown Taylor Gabriel.
That'll wrap up this preseason's snap counts, and we look forward to bringing you fresh counts for next week's regular season matchup against Tampa Bay.
