The Falcons have turned in their final roster cuts, and we’re going to have a lot to talk about in the days ahead. For now, though, it’s enough to say that there aren’t a ton of huge surprises on this list.
J.D. McKissic almost surely will land on the practice squad, as anticipated, and Akeem King is a major surprise as one of the guys who landed on injured reserve, but otherwise this roster took the rough shape most of us anticipated. Brian Poole and C.J. Goodwin at cornerback will be extremely interesting to watch, assuming they last beyond the first few weeks of the season.
