Every other game is done. The Buccaneers and Panthers dropped their respective games, leaving both teams are 1-2. This means the Falcons have a legitimate chance to seize first place in the NFC South tonight, even if it’s only for a week.
To do so, they’ll need to overcome everything we’ve written about this week: A road game in primetime, Drew Brees and a prolific Saints offense, and maintaining a high level of offensive performance. It’s all doable, and I’m bullish on their chances, but these are the Saints. One never knows.
We’ll embed our Twitter tracker for those who can’t watch live, and include the game info for those who do plan to watch. Join your fellow Falcons fans in the comments for a live discussion, and go Falcons!
