The Atlanta Falcons opened the week as heavy underdogs to the Oakland Raiders, but since then the line has moved by a whole two points, as the Raiders are now favored by 4 points.
Improvements in the health of the team may explain the movement in the line, since both Julio Jones and Mohamed Sanu are expected to fully return to practice Friday. The Raiders also received good news on the injury front Thursday when three of their five starting offensive lineman returned to practice after being banged up after their week one win in New Orleans.
At this point, there is little expectation that the line shifts much more than it has, barring any significant injuries for either team. Luckily, the line doesn’t determine the winner and the Falcons are looking for a strong showing after a relatively weak performance in week one.
Catch the Falcons at the Raiders at 4:25 EST on CBS.
