We’re one hour away from the first game of the season for the Falcons. As always, eight months of angst, anticipation, and awkward Combine questions come to a close today, and we get to see whether this team is actually any good or not. It’s an exciting, terrifying time.
For the Falcons to win, as we’ve chronicled throughout the week, their offense will need to be better and less prone to turnovers, and the defense will have to tackle well and avoid the kind of sloppy, disinterested play that arguably cost them both Tampa Bay games in 2015. The Buccaneers have talent on both sides of the ball, so despite this easily being one of the easier games on paper that the Falcons will deal with in the first half of the season, it’s no gimme.
Check out the tracker below, brush up on the game info if you missed it, and discuss the game with your fellow Falcons fans. Go Falcons!
