Falcons Friday Night Lights scrimmage info and tracker

New, comments

It’s the first scrimmage for the Falcons, and the first (semi) meaningful game action we’ve had in eight months.

Tonight, the Falcons play their annual Friday Night Lights scrimmage, which is by all accounts kind of a blast. It’s also the first “real” (we’re using that word loosely) game action we’ve seen since the end of 2015, so we await it eagerly.

Here’s what you need to know tonight, plus a tracker that will serve you well if you’re not there to watch in real-time.

When: Friday, August 5, 6 p.m.

Where: Grayson Community Stadium, Grayson High School

What Is It? An intra-squad scrimmage where the Falcons play, effectively, a full game. It’s an often spirited game, and while it’s not a substitute for an actual preseason or season game, it is a lot of fun to watch and gives some small insight into position battles and how young players look in game action.
