Falcons vs. Jaguars preseason: What you need to know about the schedule, channel, and more

You want to watch the last preseason game because you are an insane glutton for punishment, so we’ve got you covered.

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at Jacksonville Jaguars Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The regular season is just under two weeks away for the Atlanta Falcons, and yet there’s still so much work to be done between cutting the roster down to 53 players, getting the offense to function at a high level, and keeping Bryan Cox well-supplied with cigars. There’s also one final preseason game.

As you know, the reserves will mostly work in the Falcons-Jaguars preseason game, with Matt Ryan and company getting a very short time to work out a few kinks ahead of the season. With 22 cuts still left to go, the Falcons need to get one last look at players like Nordly Capi, Brian Poole, Brandon Wilds, and Aldrick Robinson who have had impressive moments this preseason and determine whether they’re worth keeping around. They’ll do so against Jacksonville, which has a lot of intriguing young backups and should provide a quality test.

Here’s everything you need to know to watch the game Thursday night.
