The Atlanta Falcons returned to late-2015 Falcons last night. Most of the players were either ineffective or left the game due to injury. Luckily Julio Jones and Adrian Clayborn are not expected to miss any regular season games.
Per ESPN's Vaughn McClure.
Initial word is Falcons DE Adrian Clayborn's left shoulder injury is nothing serious. He should be back for... https://t.co/GAdrtQArUM— vaughn mcclure (@vxmcclure23) August 26, 2016
This is great news. The Falcons are severely lacking any semblance of talent at defensive end. Clayborn may not be the biggest play maker, but he is easily one of the top players on the defensive line. Brooks Reed has not shown much, Vic Beasley is either dealing with an injury or is severely struggling, and Derrick Shelby has been invisible. A healthy Clayborn should help create a bit of pressure.
