The Atlanta Falcons looked improved and defeated Robert Griffin III and his Cleveland Browns 24-13 tonight. Most encouraging was the efficiency of the first team offense, particularly the running game. But while there are reasons to be excited about the team going forward, there's one big reason to be nervous: punter extraordinaire Matt Bosher was injured.
Matt Bosher was injured covering a punt that was almost blocked. He was running downfield when Browns linebacker Tank Carder blindsided him. The hit didn't draw a flag. According to Vaugh McClure, it's a "chest injury."

Nick Rose replaced Bosher as punter and as we know, that isn't a good thing.

There really weren't any other noteworthy injuries. For a moment it looked like Corey Washington suffered a nasty knee injury in the fourth quarter. He was blocking when a fellow Falcon fell into the back of his knee. It was a scary moment for the wide receiver who is definitely on the outside of the roster bubble looking. All that said, he immediately came back into the game.
