Atlanta’s back again for training camp, with gameday just a few days away. We’ll see what practice brings today, but here’s a few things worth looking out for.
- The Falcons got back Keanu Neal and Levine Toilolo yesterday, and now we’ll be looking for Terron Ward and Kemal Ishmael to re-join the team. Both will need to get back on the practice field soon if they’re going to play Thursday, and it’s especially critical for Ward because he doesn’t have a job sewn up like Ishmael does.
- Brandon Williams, Nordly Capi, and Ivan McLennan all had standout moments last Thursday night, and all three are competing for (at most) one roster spot along the defensive line. It’s going to be interesting to see how the Falcons divvy up practice reps, playing time, and praise over the coming weeks. My money’s still on McLennan.
