The Falcons announced on Saturday that they reached and injury settlement with un-drafted free agent CB, David Mims II.
We have waived/injury settlement CB David Mims II. #FalconsCamp

Mims was a first-team All-Sun belt selection in 2014 at Texas State. At 5’10” and only 182 pounds, Mims is smaller than the standard that Dan Quinn likes in his corners. However, his play style in college was aggressive and he was a sure tackler despite his size. It was doubtful that Sims would make the roster, but a spot on the practice squad was not out of the question. It all seems moot now, as it’s likely his time with the Falcons is done.
The Falcons roster is now back down to 89 players.
