Tonight’s the night! It’s the first preseason game of the year for the Atlanta Falcons and Washington Redskins, and an early proving ground for roster hopefuls and those players battling for starting jobs.
That means you’ll want to watch (obviously) and track playing time (which we’ll help you with), and we’ll be monitoring those top five or six position battles about as fervently as we can. Thankfully, while Washington is not a great team just yet, they’re a strong enough one to give the Falcons a legitimate challenge. Given the slate ahead, they need that early and often.
Here’s what you need to know to watch tonight.
