The Falcons are down to one open roster spot today, as they’ve added another wide receiver to the roster.
We signed WR Chris King to the roster today.

King was an undrafted free agent this year for the Cardinals, and the 6’0” Duquesne product was a mighty productive college receiver with good hands. He has to be considered an extreme roster longshot, given how crowded receiver now is, but King will give the Falcons another camp body with a little upside. At this point of the offseason, that’s mostly what you’re going to get, anyways.
That one remaining spot could be held open for Dwight Freeney, or there may be another camp body coming. Stay tuned!
