Falcons minicamp is open to the public, kicks off in less than one week

Are you planning on going?

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

The Falcons are done with OTAs today, but thankfully minicamp is right around the corner. That means the Falcons get to do a little bit more, we're a little closer to the season, and fans actually get to attend.

That's a huge plus for anyone itching to see the rookies in action, and for all of us here at The Falcoholic who like to see what fans observe during their time at minicamp. I think we all benefit from many sets of eyes, particularly when we're trying to keep up with the many changes happening in Dan Quinn's second year on the job. I do think we'll get an early, more meaningful glimpse at camp battles during those three days, particularly at middle linebacker, where Deion Joens and Paul Worrilow figures to be one of the most compelling competitions on the roster.
