Devonta Freeman's body of work in the 2015 season was about as impressive as you'd dare expect from a second year running back, as he carried the rock 265 times for 1,056 yards, scoring 11 touchdowns on the ground. He's been honored appropriately today, as he clocked in at #50 on the NFL Top 100.
Congratulations to Devonta Freeman for earning #50 in the @nflnetwork's Top 100!

Freeman didn't even enter 2015 as the starter, but after Tevin Coleman suffered an injury in the second week of the season, the Florida State product took the job and ran with. He was one of the best all-around backs in the NFL, and even if he cooled off in the second half of the season as a runner, he remained an invaluable pass catcher and blocker. He's the obvious favorite to start this year, he earned a Pro Bowl berth, and I think you'd be hard-pressed to argue against #50 based on last season.
Congratulations to Freeman. Let's hope this is just the start of a truly spectacular career.
