Have your expectations changed for the Falcons in 2016? Take our poll

You've had a few months of the offseason to digest. Now how are you feeling about the team?

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

It's safe to say that most Falcons fans didn't come into this offseason feeling terrific about the team. You might have liked the direction Dan Quinn brought to the team (I know I did) and the presence of a young pass rusher worth developing in Vic Beasley (ditto), but you probably didn't like the 8-8 finish or the horrendous second half collapse for the team. Months of offseason do tend to change those outlooks, however.

Since the season ended, we saw:

  • The Panthers lose the Super Bowl, which I'm including here only because I'm a miserable person and it makes me feel good
  • The Falcons having at least mixed success in free agency, landing Alex Mack, Derrick Shelby, Mohamed Sanu, and a few other key pieces
  • A controversial draft class that included Keanu Neal, Deion Jones, Austin Hooper and De'Vondre Campbell
  • A very positive series of practices at OTAs and minicamps, where predictably everyone looked great
You know that the offseason only means so much, of course, but after watching the team's plan for 2016 come together, are you feeling more or less positive about what lies ahead for the Atlanta Falcons? Take our poll and sound off in the comments, if you would.
