Falcons 53 man roster projection: Who stays and who goes?

A wildly early guess for the Falcons roster.

Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

My esteemed colleague Aaron Freeman at FalcFans released his 53 man roster projection today, and in the interest of embarrassing myself by getting fewer players right than him, I'm going to deliver my project right now.

Please note unlike Aaron, who is wise, I'm not going to include any potential free agents in the mix here. This is purely players who are currently on the roster or competing to be.

So what are the surprises here? I've got two undrafted free agents sticking on the final roster, with Dixon taking over for Joey Mbu and Sharrod Neasman sticking as the last defensive back, with the ability to play a little cornerback or safety. Neasman is probably pretty self-explanatory--he's an interesting player coming out of college, versatility helps these guys stick, and the Falcons are a little lean at cornerback unless they sign someone like Leon Hall--but Dixon might be a surprise. I think he's got the size, strength, and athleticism to be an asset for Atlanta, and I think

Give us your 53 man roster, if you please.
