If you thought the Falcons were done adding to their front office, guess again, suckers.
I'm hearing Kevin Simon is leaving @dallascowboys personnel dept to become @AtlantaFalcons asst pro scouting director @SiriusXMNFL

Simon had a cup of coffee in the NFL as a 7th round pick, spent time as a strength and conditioning assistant with the Tennessee Volunteers, and has been a Dallas Cowboys scout for a little while now. The Cowboys have been a hit or miss team, but have managed to amass a lot of talent over the years, and for all we know Simon was an instrumental part of that. Scouting acquisitions at this point in the offseason aren't going to move the needle for the Falcons at the moment, but hopefully he'll be an asset for the front office and its motley collection of grizzled scouts, former general managers, and current general managers.
At the very least, it's a promotion for Simon, and we welcome him to the team.
