The Falcons won't have Jalen Collins for the first four games of the 2016 season, which always meant they were likely to shop for some help at cornerback. They're just aiming a little higher than I think we anticipated they would.
Leon Hall in Atlanta tonight visiting with #Falcons. Met w/#Giants earlier today. More than a few teams interested. Played well last year

Hall is a very good cornerback who has never totally got the recognition I feel he deserves, though his two torn Achilles have had a lot to do with that. At age 31, he should still be an asset for the Falcons, likely playing outside in the team's nickel sets and coming off the field in favor of Robert Alford when the Falcons are only utilizing two cornerbacks. The addition of Hall would turn a very good Falcons secondary into a very good one, so I wholeheartedly support the signing.
We'll see if anything comes of this, but I'm going to not get my hopes up too high for the moment.
