Falcons preseason schedule 2016: The opponents have been set

New, comments

The Falcons will play the Dolphins, Redskins, Browns, and Jaguars this year.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

We don't know the season schedule yet, but we do know who the Falcons are playing in preseason, so we've got that going for us.

The only time we know for certain is the Dolphins game, because that will be nationally televised at 8 p.m. on August 25th, while the Jaguars game will be scheduled for September 1st. It's not exactly a murderer's row of teams, but considering these are tune-up games for what promises to be a tough schedule, we're okay with that.

The most interesting opponent here is the Jaguars, both because they're an up-and-coming team with intriguing pieces and because the Falcons have played them in six of the last seven preseasons.

In case you've forgotten who the Falcons will be playing in the regular season, you can see the full list below. What's the most intriguing game on the preseason slate for you?
