The draft is almost here, and Atlanta Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff and coach Dan Quinn will address the media this afternoon to answer questions about their strategy and approach.
This draft is exceedingly important for the team. The Falcons were pretty active in free agency, but needs remain, particularly on defense. The Falcons surrendered their fifth-round pick as part of the league's punishment for the fake crowd noise scandal, and they traded their sixth-round pick to the Tennessee Titans for Andy Levitre just prior to the start of last season. Owner Arthur Blank has said that he expects this draft to yield starters with the team's selections in the first four rounds.
I'll be live-tweeting the press conference from on site, but if you're not on Twitter, I'm embedding my tweets below for your convenience. Discuss the presser in the comments, and be sure to check back for updates after the fact.
