After bringing in Alex Mack to play Center, there were question marks about who would man the right guard spot in 2016. Well, we can add one more potential name to the mix as the Falcons have brought back veteran guard Chris Chester.
Chester started all 16 games at right guard for the Falcons last year. He started off the year impressively, but seemed to get worse towards the end of the year. At 33 years old, Chester is certainly not the long-term solution at the position and at this point, he may not even be the presumed starter. However, he's a veteran with experience in this offense and one that played well for parts of last season. At the very least, he's quality depth that allows the team to look for a long-term developmental player in the later rounds of the draft.
What are your thoughts on bringing Chester back?
