You can't officially sign free agents until Wednesday, March 9th at 4 p.m., but you can certainly hammer out a contract ahead of time. Legal tampering begins today, and the Falcons will be burning up the phones to contact agents for their preferred targets, trying to land a commitment (and a reasonable contract) before anything's official. We'll be tracking every rumor and signing right here, starting today.
As a reminder, free agency officially begins at 4 p.m. on Wednesday. The rest of the near-future offseason schedule can be found here.
While we don't know who the Falcons are after, totally, I'd fully expect them to chase a mix of the following positions and players in the days ahead. We'll hope they land a handful of big upgrades along the way.
