Rich McKay: Atlanta Falcons will wear red pants and jersey if they get a Thursday night game

Fact: Rich McKay can shotgun a slushie in less than 5 seconds

The Atlanta Falcons have an up and down history; it's no wonder that they've, historically speaking, had good uniforms and bad uniforms. I have my personal favorite, and I'm sure you do too. But hold onto your seats, Falcons fans, because a new uniform could be coming down the pike.

Rich McKay discussed the possibility of a Thursday night game today. He told observers at a business summit that the Falcons will wear all red uniforms if they get a Thursday night game this season. Fun!

During Atlanta Business Chronicle and Atlanta Sports Council's annual Business of Sports Summit on Friday, Atlanta Falcons CEO Rich McKay said the team will wear all-red "should we [Falcons] play a home Thursday night game."

I personally think this is a great idea. McKay isn't wrong, it would be interesting to see Matt Ryan writhing in pain after a blown blocking assignment running around in a red jersey and red pants. Can you imagine?! Discuss!
