The Atlanta Falcons are trying desperately to make this Dan Quinn's team. That's going to take a personnel overhaul that can't be completed in a single off-season. But that doesn't mean they won't try to accomplish as much as possible between now and week 1 of the 2016 NFL season.
The NFL draft starts April 28th. Most people think the Falcons will draft a linebacker in the first round. They may even double dip and draft a second linebacker in the 2nd or 3rd rounds. But once they're done double dipping in the linebacker pool, they'll only have three additional draft picks. In fact, with only five picks, the Falcons will have the fewest selections in the draft. The Dallas Cowboys also have five picks
To be fair, it's not like the Falcons did much to put themselves in this less-than-ideal situation. If you recall, the Titans have their 6th round pick. (That and a 2017 pick is what it took to land guard Andy Levitre last off-season.) Then there's the forfeited 5th round pick the Falcons lost after Noisegate.
In short, the Falcons will need to make more out of less next month. Your thoughts?
