Should the Falcons sign WR Mohamed Sanu? Weigh in.

What's your take on Atlanta's pursuit of Sanu?

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

It sounds like the Atlanta Falcons are all the way in on the Mohamed Sanu sweepstakes. The wide receiver, who had 33 catches for 394 yards and no touchdowns last season, was behind A.J. Green and Marvin Jones on the Cincinnati Bengals' depth chart.

Sanu was more productive in 2014, finishing the season with 790 receiving yards and five touchdowns, but he's reportedly asking for contracts in the $6 million to $7 million per year range, which seems a bit excessive. Falcons fans, at least the ones who interact with me on Twitter, seem to have strong feelings about Sanu one way or the other. Either he's a great option and the Falcons need to get this done, or he's literally the worst thing that could possibly happen to this team. There's not much in between.

There are still a couple of free agents on the market the Falcons could consider, like Jermaine Kearse or Mike Wallace, but it appears that they're pretty interested in Sanu, who is visiting with the team today.

The team obviously needs a receiver after parting ways with Roddy White. Is Sanu the guy? It's your turn to weigh in on this important issue.
