The Falcons capped a busy first day of free agency by adding upgrades at center and defensive end, re-signing a valuable rotational piece, and adding a backup quarterback option. Not a bad first day, but there's work yet to be done.
Today, the Falcons will be visiting with WR Mohamed Sanu, DE Chris Long, and potentially other players we simply haven't heard about yet. If they come away from today with Sanu on a reasonably affordable signing (unfortunately doubtful) and at least explore landing help at linebacker, I'll be pretty content.
Follow along with our tracker below, check back throughout the day for updates, and use this as your all-purpose free agency discussion thread. Let's hope the Falcons give us something worth being excited about on an otherwise sleepy Thursday.
