With his first catch of the game against the Chiefs, the the great Julio Jones moved into second on the team’s receiving yardage list, just behind the also great Roddy White. Julio, you’ll recall, was just drafted in 2011.

Julio already has four receptions for 52 yards in this game, and should finish well over 100. As we’ve said a hundred times before, the only thing stopping Julio from claiming every franchise receiving record in the next 3-5 seasons is his health and competence at quarterback. If he has both of those and keeps up his current pace, the next big milestone we’ll start talking about is the Hall of Fame.
Congratulations, Julio!
